ProCon Wind Energy join forces with Pict Offshore, a JV between Ørsted and Limpet Technology, to deliver new GUS system for Hornsea 2.

Now, we can proudly announce that we are contributing to this revolutionizing since we have entered into an agreement with Pict Offshore regarding the onshore commissioning of their GUS system on the 165 TPs for Ørsted’s Hornsea 2 Offshore Wind Farm.
The GUS system, a personnel hoisting system, has been developed to replace external ladders with the purpose of boosting safety for technicians and reducing steelwork requirements as well as costs related to construction and through-life.
Our commissioning work, managed by Martin Fink Vang Jensen and Chris Jacobsen, is already taking place at Bladt Industries A/S in Aalborg Denmark and at DEME Group‘s site in Eemshaven.
