Quality, health, safety and environment are core elements of ProCon, and we consider responsible behavior within these elements as one of the prerequisites for our future business success. Within the company, we therefore constantly develop services, systems, concepts, and processes to optimize our setup and live up to industry requirements.

Quality, health, safety and environment
Our DNA naturally also applies to health, safety, environmental and quality aspects. We want to provide our customers, partners, employees, and the environment with the best solutions in terms of our services, our working conditions, and our sustainability initiatives. Consequently, we are proud to have obtained our ISO certifications, pre-qualifications, supplier approvals as well as customer appraisals.
We are committed to comply with our certifications’ requirements and all applicable legislations and are aware of our responsibilities regarding these. We are therefore constantly working to improve our QHSE, which benefit internal and external partners as well as the environment. To ensure that ProCon Wind Energy’s work regarding health, safety, environment and quality is more than satisfactory, we conform to the company DNA and Code of Conduct, but we also do internal audits of all our sites, of own work and on purchased components.
Sustainability
Integrated into the very core of ProCon
In 2021, we decided to work strategically, pragmatically, and actively with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and mapping our impact. Alongside working with the SDG’s we are also working with double materiality and ESRS’s according to the European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
Our highest focus lies at our Value Chain and our Supplier Management, as this is one of our highest emission factors and here we see the possibility to work actively to become more sustainable.
Our work is integrated, supported and anchored in the entire organization, under the slogan “Electrifying Renewable Energy”, and every department has a seat in our sustainability committee to ensure this anchoring and that ProCon is continuing to be a first mover in the industry.

WORKING WITH
QHSE
To ensure high Quality, ProCon focuses on process optimization and efficiency in every aspect of the company. We have among others implemented systems such as a project management flow system, a risk assessment system, a human resource management system, and a tool management system. These all contribute to the overall optimization of our company, but they also support our team members in providing the same high quality in all our projects around the world by ensuring transparency, flexibility, effectiveness, uniformity, and professionalism regarding e.g. project execution, manpower, equipment, and inspections.
Our quality is naturally also ensured by acting according to our DNA and code of conduct, working safe, and considering the environment in our everyday work.
To check up on the quality of our performance and service, ProCon conducts internal audits and quality controls of purchased equipment from suppliers. In that way, we are always able to deliver the expected and agreed quality on time.
To ensure Health and Safety, ProCon naturally comply with national and international labour and working environmental laws and focus on the well-being and rights of employees. We have implemented a zero accidents culture where we are actively working to reduce workplace injuries and encourage employees to report accidents, close calls, and other relevant observations. Thereby, we have managed to integrate safety as a natural part of our everyday work, both at the office and on sites.
A complete onboarding program concerning health and safety has been developed to support this culture, as well as to promote a good and safe working environment to all employees, partners, and customers. We believe this encourages the involvement of our employees and makes ProCon one of the health and safety role models of the renewable industry.
To ensure that the Environment is considered and helped, ProCon works strategically and practically with UN’s sustainable development goals – something our company has been certified for. This certification entails that we incorporate the environmental aspect into our solutions as well as everyday practice. Hence, we have several initiatives in place, and we constantly aim to develop these as well as our products, services, and processes to minimize the impact on the world that we leave for the future generations.
Consequently, we pride ourselves with being capable to deliver local solutions worldwide, consisting of local procurement, project and site management, and local manpower when relevant and required, as it contributes to the reduction of the levelized cost of energy and the carbon footprint of the renewable industry.
THE SUSTAINABLE JOURNEY
Our initiatives
ProCon was certified for its work with the sustainable development goals by Bureau Veritas in June 2021 as the first SMV in the renewable industry. Apart from being able to document our contribution to a more sustainable world, our certification means that we have made certain commitments regarding business and solutions. Some of these commitments are already intertwined with our ISO standards, our QHSE policy, and DNA, which is why working with sustainability is natural for us.
To oversee, facilitate and continue our sustainable work, we are working with transparency and communication of our processes, progress, initiatives, plans, etc. Examples of initiatives which we are working on and have great success with are, amongothers
At ProCon, we are constantly trying to reduce our carbon footprint and CO2 emissions throughout our company. We measure and document our CO2 emission yearly, where we can see the benefits of our focus on minimizing our travels with 50%, and CO2 compensating when do travel; exchanging our fleet of cars to more environmentally friendly cars; choosing appropriate offices, utilities and expenses; and choosing and providing as sustainable solutions, components and consumables as possible while being aligned with requirements.
As a part of providing as sustainable solutions as possible according to our customers, we have a close cooperation with our suppliers, sub-suppliers and partners to ensure that everything lives up to our as well as our customers’ pre-set values and requirements regarding health, safety, environment, quality and sustainability. This is a part of an on-going evaluation and dialogue with our supply and value chain, where our interested party analysis is updated at least once per year.
ProCon has established an innovation group to increase the focus on sustainable design and products as well as develop new initiatives and concepts. This group ensures that sustainability is considered in every optimization process, health and safety initiative, solution, etc., and thereby contributing to the on-going sustainable development in our company and industry.
ProCon is a specialist in setting up companies, offices, sites and organizations around the world because it is in our DNA to go where our customers go and deliver what they require.
With each of these establishments, we ensure that our Code of Conduct, DNA and business approaches are implemented. Our Danish standards and expectations are therefore integrated worldwide and ensure that we say no to matters such as bribery, corruption, child labour, prostitution, and yes to e.g. healthy and safe working conditions, fair salary, and good living conditions.
The safety, well-being, motivation, know-how and education of our employees is paramount for our business. Therefore, we invest heavily in training and courses through our own ProCon Academy or through our partners. We also offer benefits like health care package, fair salary, flexible working hours, involvement, social get-to-togethers.
This ensures decent jobs and a skilled workforce, which have a positive ripple effect from our company to the rest of the industry and to the countries we are present in where we help spread information about quality solutions and appropriate behaviour and working conditions.
