ProCon Wind Energy has officially entered the US offshore wind market!
Skilled technicians from ProCon Wind Energy started the electrical construction of 2 TPs for the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Project together with EEW Special Pipe Constructions GmbH on the 2nd of December.
Project Manager Erik M. Pedersen, who is leading the project on our behalf, states the following regarding the project: “So far, we have completed the fitting of the internal E-modules and we are now looking forward to completing the rest of the TPs, which is expected to happen in the end of January.”
The Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Project, which is to be installed 27 miles of the coast of Virginia, is owned by Dominion Energy but constructed by Ørsted, the global leader in offshore wind.
About the project and the agreement, CEO Claus Søgaard Poulsen elaborates: “We are delighted to have entered into yet another agreement with EEW Special Pipe Constructions GmbH as it has opened the door to the US offshore wind market for ProCon. We will ensure quality electrical solutions to the Coastal Virginia Offshore Project as well as other US projects in the future.”
