Earlier this year, ProCon was awarded the MV/HV work scope for the 475 MW Nysater onshore wind project in Sweden.
Thus, we are happy to announce that we are responsible for the MV cable routing in the towers and nacelles; the commissioning of transformers and switchgears, the protection relay testing as well as the energizing of the 114 wind turbines.
The scope was awarded by Windhoist Ltd, who the WTG supplier and EPC contractor Nordex Group appointed to carry out the installation work.
Our work started in week 35 and is set to finalize in the spring of 2021. Upon completion, the Nysater project, which is being jointly developed by RWE and Energy Infrastructure Partners AG (EIP), will become the second biggest onshore wind farm in Sweden and one of the biggest onshore wind farms in Europe.
