System Design Package
ProCon offers mechanical and electrical design services as part of our broader onshore construction offering or as a standalone scope. Our experienced engineers develop complete design packages covering electrical system design, cable routing and management, earthing and lightning protection concepts, single line diagrams, load calculations, and mechanical support structure design.
Our deliverables are tailored to project requirements and typically include design drawings, material specifications, calculation reports, and documentation packages aligned with relevant standards and client requirements.
All of our designs are based on an open-source approach, which means that we don’t specify a specific brand or fabricator unless this is required from the customer. This enables a broader pool of potential suppliers which will create more and equal competition in the procurement phase and is hence likely to optimize quality and pricing of projects. It will also enable local fabrication if preferred or required from the end-client. We of course design according to quality standards and requirements and take full responsibility for our designs.
This goes for the entire electrical package, but also for cable trays, TP-Covers, railings, gratings, HV Structures, and SIP structures.
Technical Interface Management
In complex offshore wind projects, managing the interfaces between scopes, systems, and stakeholders is critical to keeping a project on track. ProCon brings hands-on technical expertise to interface management — bridging the gap between Developers, Engineering Houses, BOP contractors, WTG OEMs, and other project parties.
With deep knowledge of both foundation and substation systems, our engineers identify and resolve interface challenges early and take responsibility of these, ensuring seamless integration across all disciplines and a smooth progression through each project phase.

Our Design Engineering offerings can naturally be provided as a stand-alone or system-specific services, but it is also integrated in our turnkey EPICS solution where we follow projects through all the different stages – minimizing interfaces and risk, while increasing efficiency, local content incorporation, and cost as well QHSE optimizations.
