Site Establishment, Supervision & Quality Control

You provide the yard — we handle everything else. ProCon can establish and manage fully equipped installation sites anywhere in the world, supplying the tools, equipment, logistics, and personnel needed to get your project up and running efficiently from day one.

ProCon provides on-site supervision and quality control whether we hold the full installation scope or the client manages installation independently. Our experienced supervisors and QA/QC personnel ensure all work is carried out to specification, properly documented, and compliant with relevant standards — giving you confidence in the quality of every installation.

Site and Project Management

ProCon’s engineers and project managers are involved from the earliest design phase through to completed installation — overseeing every adjustment, optimization, quality control, documentation, and HSE process along the way.

Our onsite support ensures that shipping, delivery, and installation run smoothly and efficiently, while our experienced site managers keep everything on track throughout the entire project.

Skills & Personnel

ProCon’s onshore installation teams are built on skilled, multi-disciplined professionals with extensive experience across E&I and mechanical scopes for offshore wind foundations and substations.

Supported by dedicated site managers, engineers, and QA/QC personnel, our teams work to strict QHSE standards at every stage — ensuring installations are carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification. All personnel hold the certifications and qualifications required for their scope of work.

Mock-ups

ProCon conducts full-scale mock-ups at our warehouse or on site to verify that everything fits to plan — reducing delays and mistakes during installation while allowing final adjustments to logistics and installation procedures.

Mock-up testing also gives our engineers a hands-on platform for product development, driving the continuous design improvements we pursue in close collaboration with our customers and suppliers.

Preparation & Pre-assembly

Thorough preparation is key to efficient and risk-free installation. Before components ever reach the site, ProCon’s warehouse team ensures all materials are checked, prepared, labelled, and documented to project specifications — reducing the risk of delays, errors, and rework on site.

By preassembling as much as possible off-site or at workshops at site, we further reduce installation time, cost, and risk both onshore and offshore. Our preassembled kits enable faster, more efficient fitting of e.g. LV and HV cable management systems, with components arriving ready to install. Combined with our quality-checked kit sets and on-site supervision, this end-to-end preparation ensures a smooth, efficient installation process from the ground up.

Mechanical Outfitting & Installation

ProCon handles the full mechanical outfitting and installation scope for offshore wind foundations and substations. Our experienced teams install and fit all mechanical components — including support structures, cable trays, conduits, hangers, grating, ladders, cabinets, and associated hardware — ensuring everything is correctly positioned, secured, and prepared to specification.

Working closely alongside our E&I teams, our mechanical crews ensure a smooth and coordinated progression through the outfitting sequence, minimizing interfaces and keeping the project on schedule. All work is carried out to strict QHSE standards, with dedicated supervision and quality control throughout.

E&I Outfitting & Installation

ProCon delivers the complete electrical and instrumentation installation scope for offshore wind foundations and substations. Our experienced E&I teams handle all aspects of the electrical outfitting — including cable pulling, connection, glanding, earthing, switchgear and panel installation, lighting and nav-aid systems, heat tracing, and instrumentation — ensuring every system is installed correctly.

Working in close coordination with our mechanical teams, we ensure a logical and efficient outfitting sequence that minimizes rework and keeps the project progressing smoothly. From first fix through to final connections, all work is carried out to strict QHSE standards with dedicated supervision and quality control in place throughout — leaving every system ready for testing and commissioning

The I of our EPICS Solution

Our Onshore Installation offering can naturally be provided as a stand-alone or system-specific services, but it is also integrated in our turnkey EPICS solution where we follow projects through all the different stages – minimizing interfaces and risk, while increasing efficiency, local content incorporation, and cost as well QHSE optimizations.
